About your course creator:  Tim Burns

Tim is an award-winning business professor and speaker, who has taught and presented for many years to numerous business groups and professionals. Tim is a Certified Public Accountant and Attorney,  specializing in small business tax and business planning.   He also served as an Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship at the Tulane University School of Business and taught accounting and entrepreneurship at Loyola University and the University of New Orleans. Tim is a firm believer in the self-management skills of goal setting, optimal performance and perseverance as necessary corollaries to business management skills and has studied and presented on personal development for many years.  He has also published a self-development book entitled Mid-Life Tine-Up.

Tim is perhaps the only content presenter today who artfully weaves both the topics of entrepreneurship business practices as well as personal empowerment in his educational programs and materials.  This important integration of self-management and business management saves his students time and effort in their learning and development and helps optimize their chances of success. 

Although self help books and entrepreneurship books are in different sections of the bookstore, the truth is that you need to skills in both to be successful in business.

Lastly, Tim loves teaching and he loves his students and sincerely wants them to learn and succeed.

His material is concise and well organized and he employs all learning methods: visual, kinesthetic and auditory in presenting the information to maximize learning and retention.
